What makes us special?

The modern equipped and generously sized apartment (85 m^2) is just 300 m away from the sea, is located close to Lagos (in proximity to Luz in the east and the village of Burgau to the west) and sleeps 4+. The luxury holiday rental apartment is equipped with everything you need to make this place your "home away from home" and comes with a fully equipped kitchen including ceran cooktop, microwave, electric oven, dish washer and washing machine. The rental apartment has underfloor heating, airconditioning, private pool within your own garden, terrasse with dining area (6 pax), 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms (one with two single beds, one with a double bed), 55'' Smart TV, high speed WIFI. The resort has a communal garden, offers a gym and Spa area with heated indoor pool, whirlpool, steam bath and a finish sauna. 

What maked the area so special?

One thing in advance: Yes, Portugal and especially the Algarve are really as wonderful as it is described everywhere. Geographically, the western part of the Algarve is called "Barlavento" - whereby the Portuguese term for wind (vento) can be found in this name. Loosely translated, this means "the side facing the wind" (for the sailors among us: windward). This indicates that wind can be expected all year round. In contrast, the eastern part of the Algarve is called "Sotavento". This part, which tends to be away from the wind (sailors use the term leeward here), is also known as the sandy Algarve, while the western part is again referred to as the rocky Algarve. The name says it all here: the nature is characterized by rugged coastal sections and beautiful fine sandy and partly hidden beaches.

The holiday apartment is located at the eastern end of the Western Algarve, i.e. the rocky Algarve, approx. 6 km westerly of Lagos. The area is particularly exciting and attractive because a large nature reserve begins directly west of Lagos and therefore the entire coastline to the west has been able to retain its natural, wild beauty. While it gets lonelier and wilder to the west, to the east you quickly have all the amenities you would expect from a suburban location.

While in the eastern Algarve, where the Mediterranean climate predominates, at the transition to the western Algave the Atlantic climate is becoming increasingly influential, so that it rarely gets very hot even in midsummer - without the sometimes harsh Atlantic climate like on the west coast predominating. The temperature in our area is therefore moderate, a light breeze provides natural air conditioning.
